Jones Elementary holds their first College Day of the year

The Jones Jaguars recently had their first College Day. The Jones Counselor, Ms. Rivera, organized the day to help instill a future-ready mindset in the students.

In-person and remote learners were encouraged to wear college shirts, design college pendants, and discuss their future aspirations. Students discuss colleges they knew about while listening to others suggest new ones. The staff also participated by wearing college shirts and discussing their alma mater with the students.

The Jones Jaguars loved to see their teachers showcase their college pride, and it’s always a treat to witness students sharing their future goals.

The next Jones College Day will be on Wednesday, October 21.
