Melba Lee (Watson) Trahan, age 86, of Rockwall, TX, passed away on August 11, 2020. She was born on August 12, 1933, in Lamesa, TX. Melba was a long-time resident of Garland, TX. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, painting and cooking. Her presence will be deeply missed.
Melba is survived by her daughter Janet Thomas and husband Mike of Rockwall, TX, her son Steve Trahan and wife Theresia of Rowlett, TX, and daughter Pamela Bohn and husband Rob of Shreveport, LA; grandchildren: Tony Thomas, LeAnn Thomas, Britny McKenzie and husband Carrigan, Blake Trahan and wife Kamryn, Zachary Hill, and Emilie Hill; great-grandchildren: Kaylie Thomas, Ryder McKenzie, Lawson McKenzie, and Karsyn Hill; sisters: Margaret Frazier, Nelda Holt, and Martha Rebber. Melba was preceded in death by her father Leslie Watson and mother Mattie Jewel Watson, brother Leslie (Dub) Watson, Jr, and daughter Colette Trahan.
A celebration of Melba’s life will be held at 4:00pm on Friday, August 28, 2020, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location.
