Domingo “Mingo” “Sunday” Atok passed away August 10, 2020, at the age of 90. He was born November 16, 1929, in the Philippines to Braulio and Victorina Atok. A resident of St. Louis, MO, Domingo was a member of Cathedral Basilica.
Domingo is survived by his wife: Anita Atok of St. Louis, MO; children: Jesus Atok and wife Gloria of Garland, TX, Fr. George Atok, SDB, of Vancouver, B.C., and Marie Charoenkul and husband Mark of Mesquite, TX; grandchildren: Michael Atok and wife Angela, Joshua Atok, and Angela Ann Charoenkul; great grandchildren: Brendan, Collin and Finley Atok. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at Sacred Heart Mausoleum Chapel, followed by entombment in the Mausoleum. The family will gather with friends at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rowlett Location Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm with a Rosary at 6. Social distancing will be observed and face masks required.
