Magnitude 2.3 earthquake hits North Texas overnight Sunday

A magnitude 2.3 earthquake struck the North Texas area overnight Sunday, according to a report from the USGS.
The quake occurred just after 1:30AM with an epicenter off W. Northwest Highway near I35E in the northwest Dallas area.

There were a handful of reports in the immediate area from residents who felt it; however, all reported it as very weak or light.
