Vincent “Vinny” Donald Avallone, age 78, of Forney, TX, passed away on July 23, 2020. He was born on February 15, 1942, in Brooklyn, NY, to Alfonso Avallone and Rose (Radatti) Avallone. Vinny, also lovingly known to so many around town as “Uncle Vinny,” was bigger than life. He had a big personality, loved life, and he enjoyed it to the fullest. Vinny was charming, charismatic, and an avid animal lover. He liked to travel and especially enjoyed his trips to Scotland. Vinny loved to make people laugh and he would use his comical profanity. He enjoyed a good scotch and a cigar. Vinny loved his family more than anything. His presence will be deeply missed.
Vinny is survived by his wife: Nanette Avallone; son: Christopher Avallone; longtime life partner: Gwen Rhodes; brother: Bernard Avallone; nephew: Tony Vastano and wife Marsha; nieces: Diane Torres, Donna Avallone, and Lisa Gamblin and husband Jim; and his beloved dog: Mooney. He was preceded in death by his sister: Marie Vastano; brother-in-law: Ralph Vastano; sister-in-law: Carrole Avallone; nephew: Bernard Avallone, Jr; and many of his animal companions.

A private celebration of Vinny’s life will be held at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location.
