Joshua Michael Gallardo, age 24 of Rowlett, TX, passed away June 26, 2020. He was born May 17, 1996, in Dallas to Guadalupe and Racheal (Vallejo) Gallardo. Josh attended St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church where he was baptized.
Josh is survived by his mother: Racheal Vallejo and partner Brandi Moser of Rowlett, TX; father: Lupe Gallardo of Dallas, TX; wife: Alyssa Cruz and children: Joshua Jr., Damion and Atreaus Gallardo, all of Dallas, TX; grandparents: Rafael and Gloria Vallejo, Maura Gallardo; siblings: Monica and Michael Hurtado, Jessica and Terry Dunston, Marrisa Gallardo, Kelsey and Joe Briones Sanchez Trapp, and Gabriel Gallardo; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Jose Gallardo.
Funeral mass will be held 1:00 pm Monday, July 6, 2020, at St. Michael Church with Fr. Martin Mwangi officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. The family will gather with friends at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rowlett Location Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. For visitation, only 45 guests will be allowed in the building at one time. Social distancing will be practiced and face masks required.
