Jane Rush, age 58, of Rockwall, TX, passed away on June 23, 2020. She was born June 25, 1961, in New Orleans, LA, to parents Cedric Doyle Carroll, Sr, and Winnie Lee (Smith) Carroll.
Jane was a passionately devoted wife, a loving mother, a bubbly Nana, and a beloved baby sister. She fiercely loved her family, and she selflessly served everywhere she went. Jane mentored many young women during her lifetime and was a pillar of encouragement and love to all she knew. She leaves a legacy of faithfully walking with the Lord Jesus through every trial. She was strong, full of laughter, and had a tendency to share a little too much detail sometimes.
Jane was a member of East Gate Community Church. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who walked with her.
Jane is survived by her loving husband of 35 years: Scott Rush; sons: Jonathan Rush and wife Rachel, Chad Rush, Ethan Rush, and Blake Rush; grandchildren: Ananias, Enoch, and Eden; sister: Connie Walker; brothers: Cedric “Bubba” Carroll and wife Sue, and Clark Carroll; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held on June 28th at 5:00 pm at Lakeshore Church located at 5575 State Hwy 205, Rockwall, TX 75032.
