John Maxwell Weber, age 85, of Rockwall, TX, passed away on May 3, 2020. He was born September 24, 1934, in Cincinnati, OH, to John Weber, Jr. and Henrietta (Himburg) Weber. John served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a camera operator for Channel 4 News and a photographer for GE. He owned his own business, John Weber Photography. John developed the pictures of the famous U-2 spy plane as well as pictures of the 1960 U-2 incident involving pilot Francis Gary Power. He was a member of the American Legion and a Mason. John was a kind and loving husband and father. His presence will be deeply missed by everyone who loved him.
John is survived by his loving wife of fifty-nine years: Evelyn H. Weber; son: Scott Weber and wife Beth; daughter: Angela Weber-Akkaya and husband Eyup; and grandchildren: Lillian, Kendall, Austin, and Brian Hunt, Olivia Chandler and Robert Noel. He was preceded in death by his sister: Natalie Horvath, and his parents.
A private graveside service will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Park with Dr. Joe Pool officiating
