Mrs. Selma Jean Rowley Harris was born October 25, 1937, in Furlow, AR, and went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, April 6, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father: Frank and Maggie Rowley; sons: Jimmy and Jeff Harris; and sisters: Jenny Finch and Myrtle Finch. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years: Charles Harris; daughter and son-in-law: Vickie and Michael Simmons; sisters: Della Bevill and Mary Kinsey; grandchildren: Katie and Daniel Laney, James and Amanda Simmons, Joseph Simmons and Alex Harris; great-granddaughter: Caroline Laney; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
She will be laid to rest in Rest Haven Memorial Park, Rockwall, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the music ministry of First Baptist Church of Rockwall, 610 S. Goliad Street, Rockwall, TX 75087.
