In recent weeks, the Rockwall Police Department has received several reports of vehicles that have been burglarized in the Caruth Lakes subdivision. Most of the offenses occurred on Morning Star and Midnight Pass and a majority of the vehicles targeted by the suspects were unlocked.
Residents citywide are encouraged to ensure vehicles are locked, personal belongings are left out of sight, and valuables are taken out of vehicles nightly to deter these types of crimes.
Additionally, anyone with security cameras are requested to review footage on March 17, 2020 between the hours of 8:00pm and 7:00am and April 3, 2020 between 9:00pm and 9:00am.
