Number of positive COVID-19 cases at Rockwall long-term care facility rises to six, announces all residents, employees will be tested

On Tuesday, Rockwall County announced that Broadmoor Medical Lodge had two COVID-19 cases. As of today, the total COVID-19 positive case count has risen to six. Department of State Health Services (DSHS) is not providing testing to this facility.

Broadmoor has coordinated with a private testing provider to have all residents and employees tested. Testing will begin tomorrow, and the turnaround for results is 2-5 days. Broadmoor continues to work with state and local officials as well as families of their residents.
