The City of Sachse received notice of a second positive COVID-19 case from the Garland Health Authority. The individual is a 46-year-old man who living in the same household as our first case. All members of the household are in quarantine at home.To protect the individual’s privacy, we aren’t releasing personal details. The Garland Health Authority, which serves as the regional health authority for Sachse, is closely monitoring the situation and is in contact with Sachse officials.
In addition to keeping you aware of developing conditions, the City of Sachse urges you to adhere to the shelter in place order. If you must leave your home to run errands for essential items or to seek medical care, please practice social distancing to slow the spread of the virus. As a reminder, the shelter in place order applies to the entire city of Sachse, regardless of which county you reside in.
