Joseph Charles Rybak, age 89, of Rockwall, TX, passed away on February 6, 2020. He was born May 11, 1930, in Oil City, PA, to Joseph Rybak and Josephine (Strechiwilk) Rybak. Joseph was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Dallas and Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Rockwall. He was a very quiet, sweet, and gentle man. Joseph was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was an avid runner, competing in 14 marathons. He loved his hometown, Oil City, PA. Joseph loved to go camping in Colorado. He was an excellent handyman and he could fix just about anything. He never had a bad thing to say about anybody and was always willing to help. Joseph will be missed dearly by everyone who loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years: Charlotte Rybak; children: Dan Rybak and spouse Robbie, Mark Rybak, Nancy Nisbett, and spouse Reggie, Lorraine Moorman and spouse James; grandchildren: Katie Reeder and spouse Michael, Tyler Moorman and spouse Alexis, Stephen Rybak, Holly Norton, and spouse Kevin, Jenna Chait and spouse Derrick, Ryan Huddin and spouse Janice, Jake Huddin and spouse Arely; great-grandchildren: Logan Reeder, Jackson Reeder, Nathaniel Reeder, Grant Reeder, Harper Reeder, Lilly Norton, William Norton, Caroline Norton, Karina Chait, Tex Huddin, Beaudry Huddin, Adilou Huddin, Sutherland Huddin, Guthrie Huddin, and two on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents; son: Joseph Rybak, Jr.; and granddaughter: Brandi Jo Huddin.
