Christopher Scot Lorenz, son of Marilyn and Armin “Joe” Lorenz, passed away peacefully in his home on February 21, 2020, in Rockwall, TX at the age of 64. Chris spent many weekends at the racetrack with his family and friends. He spent most of his working life as a truck driver and Teamster. He was a loving father to daughters Kristin Thomas, 34, and Courtney Aschenbeck, 31. He was grandfather to Josie Thomas, 5 months.
He is survived by his five siblings Joe Lorenz, Lindy Delaney, Kathy McKinney, Steve Lorenz, Tom Lorenz, several nieces and nephews, and his beloved cat Tabitha.
His generosity, kindness, and sense of humor will be missed by all who love him.
Funeral services will be held t 1:00 pm on February 27, 2020, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will take place prior to the service beginning at 12:00 pm.
His family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to UNICEF in his memory.
