Jeanita Irene Mayfield Obituary

Jeanita Irene Mayfield, age 84, of Caddo Mills, TX, passed away on January 19, 2020. She was born November 15, 1935, in Mart, TX, to Eddie Clayton McHargue and Edna Irene (McCutcheon) McHargue. Jeanita met her husband Jimmy when they were both students at Rockwall High School. They were married in 1967. She was a lifelong church member. Jeanita loved to read her bible. She was a prayer warrior. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and dancing. She will be deeply missed by everyone who loved her.

Jeanita is survived by her loving husband: Jimmy Dale Mayfield, Sr.; sons: Jimmy Dale Mayfield, Jr., and Mark Edward Robison and wife Sabrina; daughter: Kay Lynn (Robison) Bryan and husband Bruce; grandchildren: Brandi Kay Wilson-Gallegos, Jamie Ross Wilson, Amanda (Robison) Antos, Danielle Rena (Robison) McConnico, Justin Taylor Robison, Heather Nicole (Mayfield) Dancer, Jonathan Gunnar Mayfield, Joshua Aron Mayfield; great-grandchildren: Macy Wilson, Noah Wilson, Brooke Wilson, Dean Antos, Alexander Antos, Blaire Dancer, Madison Dancer, and Kenzi Corbin; and brothers: Jimmy and Morris McHargue. She was preceded in death by her son: Gary Don Robison; brother: Eddie Don McHargue; grandson: Wesley Dale Robison; and her parents: Eddie and Irene McHargue.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, January 24, 2020, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall location with Pastors Lindsey Huie and Barney Huie officiating. Interment will follow in Rockwall Memorial Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
