Granville E. Davis Obituary

Granville E. Davis, a lifetime resident of Rockwall, TX, passed away January 11, 2020, at the age of 81. He was born April 26, 1938, in Rockwall, TX, to Thurlan Granville Davis and Helen Onita (Mooney) Davis. Granville played football and ran track for Rockwall High. Granville was a character. He always on the go and a very hard worker. Granville was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Granville will be missed deeply.

Granville is survided by his loving wife of 62 years: Shirley (Whaley) Davis; daughters: Lauri Pesina and husband Adam, Lisa Jennings and husband Shane; son: Bradley Davis; grandchildren: Brittany, Chelsea, Zachary, Jenilee, Brady, and Brett; and eight great-grandchildren. Granville is also survived by his sister: Johnetta Pritchett and brother; Jim Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving daughter: Karen Lynn Davis

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Rest Haven Funeral Home.
