Rockwall Police Community Services wants to give a “Shout Out” to Mr. Bill McCarron. Mr. McCarron spent 20 years in the United States Air Force and served overseas in Vietnam at the Binh Thuy Air Base. He retired from the Air Force and became a professor at Texas A&M for Technical Communication.
He popped up on our radar because you can find Mr. McCarron on the side of our streets walking and collectin trash to throw it away. He averages two to three miles a day walking and throwing away trash that collects on the streets of Rockwall. We would venture to say that even until this day he continues to serve his community without asking for payment or recognition. It is examples like Mr. McCarron that we look up to in this generation to keep up the hard work to make the City of Rockwall a great place to live and raise our families.
