Amy Park-Heath ES Mariners have been working hard displaying great character and this year they are focusing on trust, courage, honesty, joy, perseverance, kindness, forgiveness, humility and empathy.
When a Mariner is caught displaying one of these character traits they are given a Golden Ticket, for which they get a prize and an entry into a drawing.
Once a month, Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Patterson draw four names from each grade level to spend time in the Captain’s Quarters. Inside the Captain’s Quarters you can find, foosball, basketball, ping pong, board games, a Wii and art supplies.
Mariners can also earn time in the Captain’s Quarters by having great attendance.
We are so proud of our Mariners and all their hard work.
