Jones Elementary recently held their annual Math Night with all things math related. Stations included: First to 50, Dollar Signs in One Minute, Multiplication Bingo, Pattern Block Puzzles, Tangram Puzzles and more. Students competed against each other in some of the games, but many of them enjoyed playing against a teacher and testing their skills.
There was also a grocery estimation station where participants tried to guess the weight of a box of groceries and the price of another box of groceries. The student whose estimation was closest without going over got to take the groceries home after the night was over.
The PTA was also present supporting the night and school supplies were donated to send home with families as well.
