The Fate City Council invites interested residents of the City of
Fate to apply for a vacated elected position. The appointment is to fill
the unexpired term of City Council Member, Place 3.
To be
eligible, a candidate must be at least 21 years of age, a resident of
the City of Fate for at least 12 continuous months at the time of
application, and a qualified voter of the City of Fate.
Each Council Member is expected to attend all City Council meetings regularly scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on the first and third Monday of each month. Special Meetings are generally scheduled periodically as needed. Council Members also serve on a number of subcommittees, commissions, and boards. Meetings are held at Fate City Hall located at 1900 CD Boren Parkway, Fate, Texas.
