Bernard “Corky” Harold Hansen Obituary

Bernard “Corky” Harold Hansen, age 80, of Rockwall, TX, passed away on October 10, 2019. He was born November 21, 1938, in Akron, IA, to Raymond and Arlene Hansen. Bernard was a special education teacher and he served his country in the U.S. Navy. He had a big heart and loved working with children. He will be deeply missed by everyone that loved him.

Bernard is survived by his daughter: Kristine Hansen; sons: Matthew Hansen and wife Krystal, Todd Hansen, and Mike Hansen; stepson: Dan Chipman and wife, Robin; daughter-in-law: Judy Lamp; grandchildren: Sarah Chipman, Natalia Campbell, Paisley Hansen, Stella Hansen, Kaylee, Hansen, and Aaron Hansen; great-grandson: Elias; sisters: Lanice “Fritz” Archer, and Dee Stienlicht and husband Willie; and brother: Marlin “Punk” Hansen and wife Marilyn. He was preceded in death by his wife: Penelope (Peterson) Hansen; and his parents.

A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location.
