According to the Texas Department of Transportation, weather permitting, FM 3549 between I-30 and Airport Road, John King Boulevard and the Interstate 30 frontage roads will be closed to through traffic. The closure will begin Friday October 18 at 9am and will end on Monday October 21 at 6am. The closure is to replace the Dallas, Garland and Northeastern (DGNO) Railroad crossing line on FM 3549.
The work is part of a $9.25 million project for the purpose of widening to a four lane divided roadway from a two lane undivided roadway.
