Merle Nixon Moon, age 88, of Garland, TX, passed away on September 13e, 2019. She was born August 7, 1932 Farmersville, TX to Claud L. Nixon and Luella Vaughan Nixon.
Merle retired from Kraft Foods. She was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Rockwall, where she was involved in many of the activities there. She loved animals and one of her greatest joys was visiting her friends.
Merle was preceded in death by 2 brothers Edgar Earl Nixon and C.L. Nixon Jr. and one sister, Inez Nixon. Surviving are cousins, Helen Moran and Donald Wayne Swanner; and many friends.
A private interment will be held at Royce City Cemetery.
