Benny Garrett Bell, age 74, of Rockwall, TX, passed away September 23, 2019, and was reunited with his beloved wife, Dianna Bell. He was born September 18, 1945, in Dallas, TX, to Guy Vestal Bell and Willie Ruth (Jackson) Bell. Benny was truly dedicated to his wife. He liked to garden, and he grew the best tomatoes. In his free time, he would fish. Benny was the beloved little brother of all his siblings. He was a boilermaker for over 30 years. He will be deeply missed by those who loved him.
Benny is survived by his brothers: Joe Bell, Sr. and wife Sally Sue of Rockwall, TX, Melvin Bell of Richardson, TX, Billy Gene Bell and wife Shirley of Monroe, LA; sisters: Nelda Faye Bell of Durant, OK, Peggy Lou Bell Havens of Durant, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife: Dianna Bell; sister Ruthie May Bell; and his parents.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, September 28, 2019, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location. Interment will follow in Plano Mutual Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will take place prior to the funeral, beginning at 12:00 pm.
